Welcome to the Krewe of Muses parade for 2008. Formed in 2000, this will be the 8th ride of the Muses, an all women’s krewe that has quickly charmed the city, becoming a favorite parade for many. Witty themes and amazing throws are promised by the Muses!

This year’s throws include shoe bracelets, roller skate shoe beads, light-up strobe beads, metallic soccer balls, light-up slap bracelets, plush spears, new Rubik’s cube beads, “frat boy” beads, girlie glitter powder puffs, light-up lava lamp keychain, and the Muses’ signature hand decorated glitter shoes. Dat Nguyen of McMain High School is this year’s winner of a contest sponsored by the organization to design the club’s cup.
